For the past 20 years of my life, i've came across a number of 'LALA' chais. But somehow, i don't hate them like other people do. Maybe it's just because they have this love-to-catch-attention personalities that make people hate them. For me, i envy them for the following reasons:

1)They have no worries or burdens. They are happy-go-lucky kind of people.
2)They are always having fun while your not.
3)They are always richer than you.
4)They are always hanging out with girls.
5)The girls they hang out with are cuter and hotter than those you hang out with.

So what does LALA means actually?

LALA is actually a scallop, scientificly name as Aequipecten irradians. It's an invertebrate marine mollusks with rough irregular shells and small muscles on each side of the back of its fowl. They are usually found on sea beds of coastal waters. Actually, it is a kind of seafood which you usually see in a chinese seafood restaurant. There are many types of LALA cooking styles such as 'Chao LALA, Kam Heong LALA, Shiong Tom LALA and etc'.

In malaysia, LALA is not just the normal LALA seafood that you eat but it also refers to the group of 'jeng' people that follows a special trend. They act and dress like as if they are Neo in the Matrix, but actually they are just VCD sellers. They look very 'yeng' at times, especially when they start walking on the street. It's like as if theres a gasp of wind flowing around them ... like 'Fung Wan'. In Malaysia, LALA is also known as 'Ah Beng(male LALA) and AhLian(female LALA)', and sometimes also known as 'Loong Ge'.

If you wanna know how a LALA looks like, plz get ur hairy ass down to Sungai Wang. the biggest LALA territory you can find in Malaysia. There, you can easily identify the LALAs if they meet the recognition criteria below:

1) Wearing shirts that are printed with attractive dragon image on front or back or both side of the shirt.
2) Having weird quotes on the shirt like 'im handsome, don't fall love on me', 'i eat thing don't do work, do work will break thing', 'lala is my life' and etc. For this, i should give 3 thumbs up for their dressing creativity (dun ask me wheres the 3rd thumb).
3) Like to wear 'La BA pants' or should i call it bell pants, whereby the bottom part of the pants ranges to a diameter of around 10-12 inch.
4) Superb hairstyle. Anytime better than the Mohicans or the Nigerians, or even Beckham's. I don't understand why they like to sell VCD so much, where they could earn much more being a hairstylist.
5) Their necklace and earring collections are much more than your mum's.
6) They like to wear slippers. They can have all the expensive shoes in the world like addidas or Nike but they will STILL wear slippers. Why?? bcoz this is their trademark.
7) Some of us might like to watch ' STAR WARS 1,2,3' and call ourselves obi-wan kenobi. But LALAs are different. They watch movies like 'GU WAK ZHAI 1,2,3 or INFERNAL AFFARIS 1,2,3' and call themselves 'Chen Hou Lam'.
8) there is a new generation of LALA who shows some hiphop element. I call this LALAHOP.

If you find yourself meeting the requirements from the above list, CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are absolutely a LALA species, don't deny it, you really are. Hope you have a wonderful LALA life. And plz bear in mind that i'm envy of you.
